Dear FTC, Your new law is a nice effort on your part to stop crooked scams. We IBO's appreciate your trying, but your carrying it a bit too far. Your current proposal will hurt and hamper legitimate business opportunities such as Quixtar. In no way should it be required that IBO's give prospects a seven day waiting period before joining the business. This is not a handgun, it's a legitimate business opportunity. We rely very heavily on inspiring people to change their lives and persue their dreams. It's what our business is about. It's very hard to keep that fire going for seven days for people who aren't used to chasing their dreams. As far as the list of references, that is totally bogus too. This is not like applying for a job. It is not a job. The reason IBO's became IBO's is that they did not want to have to deal with the hassles of things like reference calls. As an IBO, they don't have time to constantly be defending themselves aganist every average Joe who calls. We IBO's would appreciate it if you would take a look at these matters more carefully. They will have serious repercussions for legitimate businesses such as ours. Sincerely, Brian Snyders
