Comments:After reviewing the outline of FTC Rule, I feel the objectives by which the rule was drafted are of merit, but the Quixtar Rules of Conduct and Regulations already in place do a far more comprehensive job of keeping an IBO's business structure, content and conduct legal, moral and ethical. In my 3 years experience as a Quixtar IBO, I have found that the ethics within the leadership structure, the education system to train our IBO's, the extraordinary customer service commitment and the access to the corporation's business and legal departments when I had questions qualify this type of business as over and above standard business practices. However, I would be against certain rules: 1. A 7 day waiting period for registration of new IBO's - our corporation gives a liberal 30 day right to cancel, and I have seen them extend that refund of registration as far out as 6 month if an IBO was unhappy and did not want to keep their IBO number - the money-back guarantee covered registration fees as well as products. However, in a fast changing business climate and digital age, a 7-day wait period to register could greatly affect the upside opportunities for an individual ready and able to start right away - our training system allows for a new IBO to have the tools and support to be profitable right away and having to wait could mean lost revenue, not a good thing. 2. 10 references Rule: I am against this, as all IBO's need to be personally sponsored by an individual, have upline mentors who are in place (generally a Platninum) who are on hand by phone and in person in most cases to guide and lead the new IBO getting started in the business. Although it is possible to be at a distance from you line of sponsorship - with the phone and various communication methods, plus the 800 phone number for corporate help - I find there is always help and support. Quixtar provides alot of avenues for people support,and that is the key to success; in our ability to associate and duplicate a successful pattern for success which is provided in the association with your business team. Since our training, education and support provide sound business principles and ethics for the newest IBO's who many times have no business building experience, or failed business experience; our system is an opportunity for anyone to start new in the business world regardless of their past history. Giving IBO's the choice to build the business and associate allows the best possible avenue for anyone to better their life and conduct - most who do not choose to conduct themselves properly are not a success here - that has been my experience; and no regulation protects better than the opportunity to choose who one wants to associate with to better their life.
