I would just like to state that the proposed FTC rule for home based businesses would be detremintal to the growth of our business. Although I do feel that the rule is trying to protect people I do not feel it is the best way to accomplish this goal. The 7 day wating period will just slow the growth of people trying to create income. This rule should be removed. Also the rule requiring any IBO to provide the names, phone numbers, and address, would be a violtaion of my privacy. I would not want anyone who was shown a business opportunity to have all of my personal informantion. This rule should be removed. The next rule requiring one to provide a list of all lawsuits over the past ten years of any alleged fraud or any other misrepresention, this would make my business and many other reputable companies subject to false claims that would have to be disclosed reguardless of merit. This rule should be removed. The next rule requiring me to make a different disclosure for every income claim would also be very time consuimg, if need a general disclouse such as the average income monthly of an IBO should be used. This rule should be removed. The final rule is the one requiring an IBO to provide personal financial documents back-up any income claim. My personal finacial information is just that personal. I should not be required to prove that to any one outside of the approriate government agencies. This rule should be removed. Thank you!
