I would like to say, I believe that the proposed is not the best of ideas. This has been an established business since 1959, with the beginning of the Amway Corporation. This business was founded on the honesty and integrity of 2 men who wanted to help people who necessarily couldn't help themselves. It has given people hope who before may have had none. I have witnessed deceiteful people in this business but they are always discovered, and then stripped of their IBOship, and not allowed to proceed or ever rejoin. I believe that if a company is honest, they will state that, "if you are not satisfied you can have all your money back." "If this is not for you, 100% satifaction guaranteed." The price is stated up front and broken down so you know exactly what you are getting for your money. You are not obligated to buy everything to start, you are not obligated to buy anything! The group that I work with is very honest and up front and always let the prospect know this won't be easy, that there is work involved, and nothing is handed to you. As for disclosing personal information, I think that is wrong. There are plenty of websites and printed material that a person can obtain that has comments from IBO's about their own business and Quixtar's support team. A person should also not have to disclose their monthly or annual income. People don't disclose that information when applying for a job or asking someone to come to their house. That's rude! "Oh, I'm sorry. You don't make enough money to hang out at my house!" People are fairly intelligent these days. If they get scammed, then they turn them in or sue them. I'm sorry people have lost money in scamming home based businesses. That doesn't mean the rest of us who are honest, who are trying to make a better life for our families should be punished, too. I know, I know. Life's unfair. If the prospect wants to have 7 days to think it through, then it should be their CHOICE. That's what our boys and girls, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters are over in the Middle East fighting for, isn't it? THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE? I've have been an IBO for almost 7 years now and I love what it has given me. I'm not making much money in it, but I have found some of the most selfless people, and I am better as a person because of this influence. If some of these new rules are put into place, I'm afraid it will be harder and harder to convince people that this is a legitimate business with honest, hard working people. The fact that this has been around for so long says a lot in itself. Every business that is worth anything all has had their days in the sun with different litigations. People in this country are sue happy and if the very smallest thing goes wrong, they will pounce on it. You have to look at how many people this particular business has helped verses the number of cases of complaints. I know that there are many, many scams out there who have taken advantage of the system and many innocent people. I regret that. Please don't life harder for the honest people.
