As an independent business owner, I feel our opportunity with Quixtar is our only option for acheiving the American Dream and providing a meaningful life for our family. Our business is a hands-on learning process that works best with good ethics, discipline and healthy relationships. Your proposal has good intentions and there is a place for it. However, a requirement to wait 7 days before registering as an Independent Business Owner would cripple a new person's business. Excitement is a key ingredient to a good start and to wait 7 days would drain that excitement. A refund/cancellation policy to allow for changing their mind would be a better alternative-which we already have in place. Also, a requirement to give a list of references and legal allegations and financial records would be overly cumbersone and unnecessary and would also drain a new person's excitement. Do businesses give out references, list of legal allegations and financial records to prospective employees? The court system already has public recors of legal action and financial records can be obtained. References can easily be obtained-everyone has opinions! I think a better repuirement would be to have all this information available upon request-which it already is! To put restrictions on this type of business that has the most even playing field in the world would be choking the American Dream. We only need to make certain that people are not being cheated or taken advantage of. Thank you for your time and consideration.
