Comments:
My wife and I own and operate an independent business affilated with Quixtar for many years. My wife and I can appreciate efforts by the FTC to sift out the many schemes and scams prevalent in the business climate of today. We applaude efforts to protect potential business owners in this type of climate. By the same token, as a business owner, the 7-day wait would negatively impact our business because it unnessarily slows the registration process and the momentum that this business is built on. Due to the voluntary nature of this business, people chose to get involved in this type of business because they like you, and if they don't , they do not join no matter what they find in the investigative process. 7-day wait rule misses the mark in trying to protect innocent prospects because they have a money back guarantee. Financial substantiation misses the mark because no guarantees can be made in a voluntary built business. Personal initiative is instrumental to success in this type of business. Sincerely, Monte and Sue Mutschler
