We are Allan and Gloria Fischer. We have been in Amway and now Quixtar for a combination of 15 years. We have built our business to a Founders Platinum level. We are not where we want to be – but do not blame the business, the system or anyone. We have seen too many others become successful to doubt that the business works. We understand and appreciate the desire of the FTC to protect people from scams and dishonest opportunities. We agree with the proposal that prospects should have all the information they need to make an intelligent decision. By the proposed restrictions, it seems there are things the FTC does not understand about the way we do business. Our prospects do not need a list of names to call. They are encouraged to come to introductory meetings at no charge to them to meet and talk with others in the business. When we saw the business, we were eager to get started and would not have wanted to wait any period of time to satisfy a requirement. We push no one to register – in fact we prefer they not register until they understand what is required to be successful. We prefer they get to a workshop to get a bigger picture before they register. Many times we invest our time and resources to help people start to build their business before they register. It is not about registering people – it is about helping people reach their goals and dreams. To disclose all lawsuits etc. for the past 10 years would boggle and overwhelm anyone. I am so glad that was not a requirement when we saw the business. With all the lawsuits out there for every legitimate business – why bother? It only gives credence to those who want to whine rather than win. As for the income disclosures – we give prospects an idea of the range of income that is available at each level of the business. It is not like a job – where you can say you will make $30,000 per year. It is up to each individual what income they achieve. This is an opportunity – not a guarantee. We make sure people know this – we tell them it is hard work. It is not a get rich scheme or something for nothing. How about protection for people who are working hard to build their “direct sell” business. What about the prospects that waste our time, take our information and never give it back – let us drive hours to help them – then decide “it’s not their “cup of tea”? Before you slap a bunch of regulations on an industry that you don’t understand – check it out. We are credible, hard working people. Don’t take away our hope of a better future because too many people want to whine rather than win. Thank you If you want to contact us – our phone # is
