I think a 7 day waiting period and 5 references is a great idea. That way the potential new consultant can really decide if Partylite is right for them. I think 10 references is a bit much. Also, I think that the potential new consultant should be able to sign a waiver saying that they feel they do not need the waiting period or references, because some people have been attending parties for such a long time, that they know what Partylite is all about and won't need to really investigate the opportunity.
