Dear Sirs, One of the biggest trends going on currently is the home based business. I believe the majority of the home based businesses out there are legit, hard working ethical people. Unfortunately a few bad apples spoils the whole bushel. We need to aid this trend as it will help our economy. Your having to concider passing this business opportunity rule R511993 is understandable, but it will only hinder us hard working ethical people, by additional paper work , waiting an additional 7 days and putting each of us in a position where our personal business will be exposed to the world. I'm sure you wouldn't want to do that either. One of the reason MLM or Word of Mouth advertizing works, is because it is easily duplicated. That is what makes it work. This ruling would complicate matters conciderably and would make it unduplicatable, making my business more apt to failure. It is hard enough to get one going, people give up too easy as it is. To have to wait a week, means having to wait paying these new people an additional week, which is going to make the faillure rate even higher. I believe 95% of any business or occupation fail. Only 5% of us have what it takes to succeed any way. The 95% not being successful tends to make themselves right , by finding fault with the business they are doing, so make them out as rip offs or what ever. That has given MLM a bad rap. There is a "learning curve" to do any business, it has taken me two years, to get good enough that I am just now starting to see how to make money. I could find fault and blame the businesses I have tried, but I see it was me and not the businesses, as there are those that have become very successful, where I wasn't. I feel a lot of the complaints you guys are getting is from that phenomena .People always make themselves right, by making others wrong. Please do not let the actions of a handful of criminals or people low on the learning curve of a home based business influence your good judgement. It will cause so much hurt too so many hard working Americans trying to better there life. Please place the punishment on those doing the harm , not on us that are making the business work. If you reward Downstats (Criminals) you get Down stats, If you punish upstats (The Producers) you get Down stats. Lets be careful and not punish the upstats, that are causing this booming trend. My business is simply exchanging a valuable nutrient product for money. It is an honest living, Most of the businesses out there are. that I researched for Two years. Yes there are those dishonest people (criminals), that ruin it for all of us. Lets not ruin a good thing because of them. I would rather see something that would punish those dishonest people, rather than all of us that are honest. Tuff laws for decieving people, should come about. It is the criminal that hurts everyone, so everyone else has to pay. I feel that the laws to make it easy to locate the criminals and punish them somehow would be more ideal. Please concider us hard working majority, when passing this ruling. Thank You. Alan Dille
