RE: Business Opportunity Rule, R511993 I just wanted to let you know that I wholeheartedly support this measure. As a person who has been "swindled" by several direct sales companies, I know how important it is to have as much information as possible before committing to a business "opportunity." It would be very valuable for new "consultants" to receive a list of references for those who have left the companies so they may hear some of the reasons why people leave the company. In addition, they can hear from those who have been there about some of the other aspects of the company that are not readily disclosed by the recruiters. I support the 7 day waiting period as well! This gives people a chance to let the emotion of the moment subside and let rational thinking have a chance. Even though many direct sellers are being encouraged to write to you in opposition to this ruling, I urge you to think about the millions of people who have been duped by anxious recruiters into joining a company. These people are not getting the same email blasts and notifications as the direct sellers. You've received the complaints and the concerns from these people. Please keep that in mind as you rule on this issue.
