Deceptive people & companies will continue being deceptive. Putting more limitations on legal Direct Selling companies hurts the legal Direct Selling companies not the illegal ones. Instead of spending time and money on hurting the legal companies why not spend that time and money on shutting down the illegal ones. So many people are looking for ways to make a little extra money. Honestly people would get involved in this business for $100-$500 extra per month. I'm sure people are "Sold" the "BIG MONEY" idea, but really everyone hopes to just make pay down a credit card; put their daughter in dance class or son in tee ball; cover day care expenses or save up for a yearly vacation. It takes months of "seeing" the bigger businesses and their lifestyle to start to "believe" that $100,000s is even possible. By then they know that it isn't a "get rich quick" thing and that there is work behind it.
