I have been an Independent Business Owner for 4 years now and I am very satisfied with the results of my business. I am concerned with your proposal that requires 10 business contacts in the area that do what I do. While I realize it would help me concerning those who run an illegal business, it would hinder my opportunity for further growth. The biggest problem goes back to when I saw the opportunity. The challenge was, there was no one in my area for me to have contacted if that rule was in effect. If my sponsor was required to provide me with 10 contacts of people in my area who did what I wanted to do, he wouldn't have been able to do it because this area was completely new. There are other areas within just 2 hours of me that are new as well and I am looking to duplicate what has happened here in Northern Minnesota - Eastern North Dakota. If this rule goes into effect it would unfortunately spell doom for new markets because there would be no ability to tap into them because no one is currently in that market?! Please reconsider this referendum. Although it is greatly appreciated that you are doing something, please revise the current statements and re-release it appropriately.
