We have been business owners with quixtar.com for 5 years now While we support protecting the public from scams we also feel some of the proposed law(s) would be ineffective and actually damage legitimate business oportunities like quixtar. Giving names to prospects does not comply with our privacy laws and we feel it also would serve no viable purpose. A 7 day waiting period is really ridiculous, again what purpose does this serve. With my quixtar business there is only a small fee to become involved. At most my prospects would be ask to invest $125.00 fee for business and some starter products to try. However I generally ask only they invest $51.50 and buy products they will need as they need them. If I have to give my prospects 7 days and a list of other ibo's to talk with there is a good chance those ibos or at least some of those ibos may attempt to take these prospects that I have already qualified and invested my time into and direct them to thier own business instead. We feel these proposed laws/changes need to be taken back to ground zero and taken in a different direction. We need the protection against scams and illegal "businesses"especially with the internet but the proposed laws do more to hinder our legitimate business than screenout illegal scams or pyramid schemes that our out there.
