Comments:
A level playing field with standardized income statements and reasonable cancellation policy should be available. The Better Business Bureau and other agencies should continue to have monitoring power. Good organizations will survive and the not so good will not. The reasonable cancellation policy removes the need for a 7 day waiting period. The list of references is discriminatory to the young and new business owners. They do not have the credibilty often to have 10 references. The strength of the marketing organization is enough. People do not get a list of past litigation when dealing with traditional business's so why is that needed here. This too is discriminatory. It is unethical and totally discriminatory to require an business owner to disclose financial statements to prospects. Accountants, car dealers , or a possible employer do not have to give a financial statement to do business with an individual , neither should a home based business owner.
