Federal Trade Commission Office of the Secretary Room H-135 (Annex W) 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW Washington DC 20580 RE: Business Opportunity Rule, R511993 To Whom it May Concern : We are fairly new in the direct sales business and am looking forward to personal development and an increase to our family income due to this new business venture. The company we are working with in direct sales is the Zango Company. This company is a very legitimate direct selling company. I feel this ruling will target legitimate direct selling businesses. The seven day waiting period is impractical and will create unnecessary delays. The section that deals with references, We find it a privacy and safety issue to require these business to contact the 10 nearest existing sales people. This could cause possible ID theft.
