I've been a registered IBO of Quixtar for 8 months and I feel my business is getting ready to take off very soon. Before I registered I had it explained fully to me that this was not a get rich quick scheme and received more than enough information to make an educated decision on whether or not I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity. It only cost about $180 to get started with a 6 month guarantee on it, a great feature in my opinion. I see some huge mistakes with the proposal from the FTC. The 7 day waiting period is not necessary. If someone is excited and wants to register, why stop them? If anything it would discourage them and create more problems for existing IBOs by having to schedule more appointments. Providing a list of references does not sit well with me either. First of all, it invades the privacy of existing IBOs by having their information open to anyone. Also, a prospective IBO could register with one of the references instead of the IBO who introduced them to the opportunity. In my organization, we allow a new IBO to meet with many established, successful IBOs who mentor us based on been there done that. Another issue is sharing cases against Quixtar. This would create unfair and false accusations against the corporation and could turn many people away from a great opportunity. It is also inappropriate to provide IBOs with records of you financial gains in the business. I willingly share with IBOs about my financial gains with the opportunity but providing records just adding more of a hassle to people who are already working extremely hard to make this business work. Disclosures for every income claim is the same principle. It's more work for an already hard working IBO. I strongly urge you to consider what I have written because this is, in my opinion, the greatest opportunity in the world. IBOs in this business already face enough criticism and obstacles because it is not a traditional choice to do what we do. This business has given many people a dream and this proposal would be a large wall in front of that dream. We are trying as hard as we can to better our lives and the lives of others. Please don't set back the months and years of hard work that people have put into this great opportunity. Thank you for your time and I hope you consider all submissions presented on this matter.
