My name is Aaron Wedo. I have been an IBO with Quixtar for over 2 years. When I was prospected by my best friend I sat in my living room, and as a very sceptical person I had many questions regarding this opprotunity. Thankfully, and to my benifit, the person showing me this buisness was kind enough to answer all my questions about the income potentials, including the IBO disclosure form even before I registered. I knew right away that the income potential was based on my willingness to succeed and this was a buisness so nothing was a guarantee. Furthermore, the idea of a get-rich-quick scheme is quickly put to rest as our education program reinforces that this is a legitimate buisness and it takes alot of hard work and determination. In regards to the purposed rule for direct sales including my buisness as a Quixtar IBO. I do in fact support a disclosure giving fair and reasonable facts about a companies income potentials. Some in this buiness decide to make a few hundred dollars a year while some choose to build a massive buisness that is run full time. While I support the Quixtar buisness and the FTC's efforts to shut down fraudulent pyramid schemes and other "get-rich-quick" schemes, I do dissagree with the proposed 7 day waiting period for a prospect to register with our company. Our buisness is built on the ability to make a few dollars, or to fuel your buisness with your dreams. One of the key ingredients to our success is the ability to tackle the opprotunity right-off-the-bat. The more excited you are about achieving your goals the faster and more successful you will become! The fact is that the pyramid schemes and fraudulant buisnesses you aim to shut down have put legitimate buisnesses like ours in a bad light. When someone is prospected, it is almost certain that they will talk to someone about what they have seen. Be it a friend, relative, co-worker, they will be subject to those opinions during a 7-day waiting period. Wether they are positive comments or negative, this could have a substantial impact on the prospect as well as the IBO. However, in keeping with the rights of everyone involved, I do not agree with the disclosing of personal financial records to any prospect. Please take these comments and others from our Quixtar IBOs as a testimate to the efforts we put forth in giving everyone an infomed decision as to the possibility of success.
