1. Your proposed rule would place extreme hardship on our Quixtar business and i believe more time should be given for a thorough analysis. Today June 27,2006 is the first time i have heard of this proposal and the short notice i have received makes me think this proposal is being rushed to judgement. I also believe this could open the door to compensation for damages should a hasty decision be made that could cause possible financial harm to IBOs. 2. That being said there are many more benefits to the Quixtar business than just financial rewards. a. Our marriage was saved through the influence of men and women of character involved in our business b. We have helped working parents create an income that allowed the parent to be home to raise the children instead of the television. c. We have come to know our father in heaven [YHWH] and his son YEHOSHUA [Jesus Christ] d. We have learned and helped others to learn about business ownership and even though many did not follow through with the Quixtar business many have gone on to a successful traditional business givng credit to what they learned as an IBO. e. We have been involved for over 30 years and have found the process we use to build our business to be above reproach with the exception of a few less than honorable individuals. f. We received more than adequate information to make an informed decision and we give more than adequate information for others to make an informed decision. Bureaucratic decrees will only hinder the honorable IBOs and the less than honorable will continue to be less than honorable and will not follow any new proposal just as some have not followed in the past. g. We always let prospects know that the Quixtar business takes work, is not a get rich quick business and that there are no guarantees just the same way we let them know that there is no guarantee that they can work for 40 years, get rich quick and be successful on a job. We let them know that there is no guarantee that Social Security will be there to help them succeed in there old age. h. We do not even require the purchase of products when signing up new prospects so no money is made upon the signup but only upon helping the prospect make money. i. A forced 7 day wait to start an IBOs business sounds a little rediculous when you understand that there is only a three day wait after closing on a $400.000.00 home j. The 7 day wait would cause a severe time and financial burden because families are already difficult to set appointments with due to many working two jobs just to pay the bills. It would be like taking the time to go to the grocery store buy your groceries and leave the groceries at the store then 7 days later come back to pick them up. k. Since I am running out of available space and believe this proposal is being rushed let me just say this . Why don't you require Sams Club etc. etc. to provide a list of all their members before a new member signs up?? Why don't you make Walmart post on the front of each store all litigation against their company for the last 10 years?? Why?? Because it is not reasonable and if it is not reasonable for any other business why is this proposal being considered for Quixtar without adequate time for thorough anaylsis?? Sincerely, Albert-bruce:Bresciani,
