As a IBO with Quixtar.com I have some reservations about proposed Business Opportunity Rule. Having been active for over 10 years, I feel some of the proposes would hinder my business. I agree we should be as upfront with potential prospect as possible, but eliminate the 7 day waiting period. It slows down the speed that business owners can grow their businesses. Also eliminate the requirement to provide 10 references. When I first stared my business I didn't know 10 other people in the same business. This will creat a hardship on people just starting out in business. The ten references may not be verifiable thus leading to possible fraud. Also as I started my business until now, I find it hard to sort out what past litgations are in fact real verses those that are just smear jobs. I feel your proposals wil hurt those legitimate opportunities by putting stipulations on them that slows down the way organization are created.
