I've worked 40 years in the steel industry and realized about 3 years ago that without a retirement I would soon become a financial liability to our government. I'm 60 years old and thank God for the opportunity we have in this country to choose Free Enterprise if we want, and for the person who showed me this business. I have met and become friends with the highest caliber of people through Quixtar and found a way to provide for my family and me. When I became an Independent Business Owner I received all the information necessary to make a decision on this business and provide the same when sharing this business with others. In spite of the fact that the business plan is simple, hard work and a personal committment is necessary to build a successful business. If I don't get that from a prospect, I have no room for them as an IBO in my business. I am focused on achieving financial freedom and helping the IBO's in my organization achieve the same. I have no time to baby sit or talk someone into something they don't want. Regarding the 7 Day Waiting Period: This would serve no useful purpose & delay someone who is anxious to get started. It would also hinder my business growth and waste valuable time. I made a decision on this business in about 30 minutes. Had I been forced to wait 7 days I'm sure my sponsor would have had to go through the entire business preview again. Regarding the 10 References: A business owners growth is primarily dependent on his or her effort. Why would I send a good potential for my business to 10 other IBO"s who could possible convince my prospect to join their business? If I thought that person was qualified couldn't they? Regarding the Litiigation List: Our legal system permits anybody to sue anybody for any reason. I think that sums it up. When I decide on a Ford, I'm not provided with all the litigation attached to Ford Motor Company, nor do I want it. If the government provided a 10 year disclosure statement when contracting with their people I suspect we would have many vacancies? Congress could be the one exception since they can control their destiny from within. As I stated earlier I am 60 years old, have no intention to retire, and am on track to continue supporting our great country with my tax dollars as I have done since I was 18 years old. I know your intentions are well and their are many scams out there, but please do not jeopardize my business in Quixtar with these regulations. In Michigan and most of the country we are industry deprived. This is not the way to spur our economy.
