To whom it may concern, I am a 23 year old male who has been an IBO for just over 2 years. I dabble maybe once a month into contacting, but primarily do personal use and still receive about $300 dollar bonuses. I have learned numerous business skills and alternate visions on what business and opportunity should really mean. Beyond financial goals which I have plenty my business has allowed me the mentorship of many men with integrity, passion, faith, and honor of which being from a single parent home would have never received. When I saw this opportunity all I thought was money. They didn't guarantee it to me, but told me like a recipe if I did the things they suggested then the dish virtually always turns out right. Barring things beyond your control because we are in a people business every claim has held up 100%. I was provided with vast amounts of information and the ABILITY to look for more. I did my research for hours on end into every aspect of the claims that were given to me. I spent $123 to get started and the most someone has spent since while being registered in my business is $140. As far as a seven day waiting period that is just ludicrous. A gun doesn't take that long to get. And it isn't like you have to wait a week to register for college classes. They tell you the sooner you get started the better. And how do you develop a business built on enthusiasm by putting a delay. That is like test driving the best car you've ever been in and the dealer saying come back in a week. How disappointing. I have yet to sponsor someone that wanted their money back, but in that case I would just contact the corporation and start the ball rolling. I'm not here to make enemies, but friends and business partners. The next topic is a reference list. This is just a job mentality in action. First of all, other IBOs in the area may not even be in the same development team and may try to take the prospect. And I don't want to provide my information for other IBOs to give to prospects when someone can come to a houseplan or local meeting and meet 200 people as a guest for free. For example I registered a pharmacist who came to a regional meeting and met at least 10-15 of my personal partners plus numerous others that I don't know as close friends. He felt much more at home after being introduced to these people and how awkward to call a stranger and ask them if they like their business. I've never been handed a reference list at an interview of employees names to contact. Fair is fair. No one makes anyone do anything in our business. If you're not performing chances are your business is not either. Just like a gym membership that never gets used. It isn't the gyms fault for taking your money is it? As far as litigation records. We send them to the FTC and have them actually read "complaints." They are never with the company just individuals who weren't following rules. Stop that on any level in life. I could file a lawsuit against the FTC for defamation of character. Any validity? No. But would you have to turn around and disclouse that to someone. I don't think so and neither should IBOs. Finally income disclosure. I can see the desire to want to weed out get rich quick scams, but our levels are set up to say "if you do this...then you will get this." That simple. Not, "try it and we'll pay you based off effort or money spent." Money is money. Again just like a job you're not even supposed to discuss pay with a fellow employee because it would shed light on one person getting screwed. On the contrary, in our business we love to see new levels succeed because it just gives more power and validity to what we do. The proposal is a noble concept to protect the ignorant consumer, but at what point do we allow people to learn and grow on their own. Not letting people take advantage of them just letting them learn that knowledge is power and the best spot for knowledge is the source and experience. Thank you for your time. VM
