I commend the FTC for wanting to pass such a Rule. It would help weed out so many dishonest "Get rich quick" Schemes, and not give true MLM businesses such a bad rep. But I am concerned, I have been an IBO for over a year and love it! I love the people and the friendships I have made and our products are outstanding! Yet, I feel that my privacy would be invaded with some of the proposed rules. I do not mind to willing give info out about my experience with Quixtar, but to have my Name, #, Address on the list for any prospect to call is not o.k. with me. If a prospect has questions then the sponsoring IBO should call me, and then I will call the prospect and willing answer any questions. Our family also runs a large corp. Nursing Homes and HIPPA is huge! It may not be Medical info that is being given out but I do not want my income displayed for the whole town to talk about! I would gladly answer what level I am at in my MLM, and then give a general income for that level. Which Quixtar does anyway! I do not agree with the past 10 years of lawsuit info etc. Every year some sues our Nursing Homes. We give excellent care, and the State always gives good reviews and we are always in complience with State Regulations. If there is a problem we correct it. My point here is that people get hurt, angry, and try to pass blame. 90% of the lawsuits that are filed are things that are untrue, and over exagerrated. (Someone strained their back and sues for a perment disability settlement. Someone brought a dog in to visit and it brought back tramatic memories and set their loved one into demenia. When in reality that resident already had demenia but the family was in denial) If we had to post all the lawsuits that have been filed in the last Ten years with our Nursing Homes it would scare people away! Yet, it is a good place to work and send your loved one. We have been business for over 50 years!. I just feel that particular rule seems unfair. Unfortunatlly I do not have any suggestions. It is hard when people are dishonest. I always have my prospectives investigate Quixtar. They need to see the all sides, good, fair and bad. I want them to make their own decisions. If they don't take the time, It makes me hesitant to want to be in business with them. I always tell the prospect or new IBO that if they are not happy, their money is fully refundable. That is what I love about Quixtar! 100% satasifaction guarentee. You do not have to buy any products. Quixtar does not force you to do anything! We as Team IBO's may suggest a goal and encourage it but everone still has their freedom to choose. You decided as an IBO how fast or how slow to build your business. I want to get to a point to where my house is paid for and I work out of the house because I want to. I want to make enough money from my MLM to give money to charity. Being partnered with Quixtar allows me to shop on-line, cut out payng the middle man for the products that I consume and pay myself instead. Plus I have Fortune 500 stores that I am partners with! I become Barnes & Noble, Circuit City, Jo Ann Fabrics, Office Depot's marketing power! I direct people to them through our website. I get paid cash instead of points to use in their store. Cash is what I need to pay for the gas in my car! Please reconsider some of the rules tha tare trying to be passed. It would slow my MLM business down as well as the business for our partner stores as well. I hope that we can find a better way to weed out the dishonest scams. And support those MLM business that are trying to help people succeed!
