I am concerned that the FTC is presenting a proposal to harm small business people like myself when there are so many big businesses that misuse their power (maybe that is where this idea came from?). They don't like people to have options other that their massive stores. I feel that providing a reasonable cancellation policy and standardizing the income disclosures (that apply to all direct sellers) would be good steps. Requiring references, past litigations (how would the marketing groups and mass marketers of the world sell anything if we all knew about their litigations? or doctors? or lawyers? or pharmacists? etc.?), and seven day waiting period before registering (how would this work in the world today?). There are so few real opportunities in the world today for real people. The cooperate greed is strangling the American Way of life. It is great that you want to fix the bad practices in the world, but when you destroyed the good along the way that doesn't seem like the American Way. Thanks, Mark
