To whom it may concern, My wife and I are Independent Business Owners affiliated with Quixtar. We agree that business opportunities in this country should comply with all of the regulations that protect prospective owners from fraudulent claims, however this propsed rule would not give us the right to freely share our opportunity and would restrict our ability to strenghten our business team. Although we are affiliated with a company we feel that only our concerns or praises about Quixtar are the views we should express to prospects based on our own personal experiences; we are not employees or lawyers or Quixtar. Requiring a seven day waiting period would restrict free enterprise and stagnate potential growth of new and developing businesses. Also having ten references does not guarantee that the person that is giving the list or the other Ibos are neccessarily credible. One of the most important things about an opportunitiy is the ability to evaluate it for your self with the information that is presented and then making a resonable, informed decision. We hope that the FTC would continue to be vilgilant in protecting people from bogus businesses and evil enterprises but for those of us who our currently in the direct selling industry we know the responsibility of sharing and operating upstanding operations that will impact not only our families for generations to come but also generations of other families we share the same opportunity that was boldly and freely shared with each of us. As Ibos we also respect the fact that Quixtar is a private company and reseve the right to keep their financial records private as do I with my own financial records and practices which are both conducted legally and ethically. We hope that the FTC would stay committed to regulations that promote taming the beast of commerce but not set up unfair regulations on businesses that exemplify free enterprise and personal economic growth and business development. Thank you for your time and attention to our views about these proposed adoptions.
