Hi, My wife and I have been Quixtar IBO's for 8 months now. We were introduced to the opportunity by a gentleman who sold us our condo. When the opportunity was presented, we had sufficient information that would allow us to make a good decision on whether or not we wanted to be involved. We only paid $70 to join and made that money back in the first month. We enjoy an income that allows my wife to stay at home with our 2 children and we've seen many changes in our life due to the association we have with other business owners. While we appreciate the FTC's effort to protect us as consumers, I believe that the regulations proposed will have a huge detriment to our business. The requirement for someone to wait 7 days would simply make someone wonder "why is this a rule?" Getting 10 recommendations from other business owners would take way too much time from all parties. I was introduced to many, many people within my first 2 weeks, but having to call someone or being called by a prospect potentially everyday would cause more chaos than life already provides us. And, having to give documentation to someone about lawsuits would be disastrous. A court document means nothing with regards to law, but it will mean a lot in the mind of the new person who is already skeptical because of so many scams and schemes. Please re-write your new rules. I think it is important to protect people against fraudulant deals, but don't ruin our legitimate, life changing buisness because of the mistakes of a few dishonest people trying to make a quick buck. Aren't you sick and tired of all dishonest people affecting the rules for the honest? I know I am. Please, this will be detrimental to our business. The last thing I ever want is for my wife to have to go back to work and put my kids in daycare. Please hear our pleading. Thank you for your time.
