I have been an Quixtar business owner for three years. I have reached a level in the business that accurately matches my level of activity. The goals I have set for myself have not only been atainable, but have been easily merged with proper balance into my lifestyle. When I was registered, I was given all information that a prospect needs: the gameplan, the income, the work required, and that there are no garauntees. I am very careful to make sure my prospects are well aware of the facts of running an online business. They know it is not get rich quick and that there is a good bit of work involved. My prospects, when registering, spend no more than $170. The proposed seven day waiting period will have a negative effect on their success. Capitalizing on their excitement is what ensures we as a team, are as active in their business as possible. They participate on a much higher level when excited. Seven days would all but eliminate this window of opportunity. Further, the proposed litigation risk is an enormous red flag to anyone considering this business opportunity. When applying for a job, I was not given the recent lawsuits my soon-to-be employer was going through, or had gone through. We're basically saying to the prospect "This is a good business. But we get sued. Here's a list of the lawsuits we've had to go through." This does nothing but make a prospect doubt the validity of our business. And finally, the proposed income statement. I have not, nor will I ever tell a prospect information other than what the FTC says we must state in the business plan. The prospect understands that at certain levels in the business, they will attain a certain income. End of story. If I have not reached that level, they should be able to deduct that I have not earned any income other than my current level. I appreciate your wanting to keep prospective business owners in the know. This is important. Quixtar and us business owners are very careful to informe our prospects of all legal claims. We are also careful to show the business plan by the numbers with FTC approved incomes at each level. I truly believe that the proposals you have brought forward would only prevent prospects from having success right out of the gate. Thank you, Nathan Lukeson
