Honest disclosure of information is essential from every independent representative; however, disclosure to the extent that this legislation would require is unnecessary. For the sake of my consultants' and customers' privacy I would never divulge their names to anyone, nor would I ever ask for their permission to do so. Large retailers, national franchises, even local businesses don't supply customers with the level disclosure suggested by this legislation. And if full disclosure is meant to provide a measure of protection against fraud, one need only to look at companies like Enron and Tyco to realize the lengths some will go to mask corruption. BioPro Technology offered me all the information about their histroy, stability, honesty, intergity, and potential that I needed to make an informed business decision. Subsequently, I offer my prospective customers and consultants my testimonial for their own due diligence.
