While I agree that there is likely more than average fraud in the MLM industry, it would seem better to have more severe penalties for violations than to burden the legitimate branch of MLM with unnecessry reporting and paperwork. As the co-founder of the Standards Committee of NNFA and on the board of Citizens for Health, a national health consumer group, I have some understanding of the practicalities of dealing with MLM problems, and am willing to volunteer to be part of an advisory group reviewing this legislation.
