RE: Business Opportunity Rule, R511993 This is a case of throwing out the baby with the bath water. Not all direct selling organizations operate without integrity. Financial Destination, Inc. most certainly has demonstrated the highest of integrity from its inception to date. Furthermore, direct selling is the only foreseeable hope a person of my age (baby boomer) and lack of formal education has of being able to retire and not end up living on the street. You think I exaggerate. A day walking in my shoes would clearly demonstrate that I do not. I appreciate the FTC's consumer protection mission, but feel the currently proposed rule referenced above will significantly damage the ability of legitimate direct selling companies to do business. In an economy that desperately needs all the legal avenues it can find to create employment and income for our citizens, -- particularly to cover the costs of an aging populace, I find it hard to believe the proposed rule is being seriously considered. I grievously object.
