I urge all relevant people who have the chance to vote on the Business Opportunity Rule to vote no to additional rules and regulations. Why? 1. Because If it's not broke don't fix it. 2. I have personally invested (and lost) thousands of dollars in the Business Opportunity Industry but I did not lose money because information was not disclosed to me. Primarily, any money I lost was due to not working hard enough or not working smart enough. 3. ALL businesses, across the board, have about a 90% failure rate. Thus, starting ANY type of business is risky financially. 4. We live in The land of the free and the home of the brave not The land of government regulation (some is needed but not this) and the home of the coward. 5. Buyer beware (within reason... fraud and false advertising laws handle the unreasonable). 6. Like Ronnie said, What this country needs is LESS government, not more government. — Ronald Reagan. 7. Let's get our government priorities set correctly... like SECURING OUR BORDERS FIRST and BALANCING THE FEDERAL BUDGET SECOND and ELIMININATING TERRORISTS AND THEIR THREATS THIRD and FEEDING AND EDUCATING U.S. CHILDREN (AND EDUCATING THEIR PARENTS) FOURTH, etc... 8. By performing the fourth priority in # 7 above, maybe adults will be educated enough to know that they should do their due diligence BEFORE investing in a business opportunity. Also, adults would know that there is no such thing as a Get Rich Quick scheme and that financial success requires hard work, period (whether involving a traditional business model or a Business Opportunity. 9. Teach children to teach THEIR children well (again # 7 priority 4 above!!!). 10. We do not punish innocent people for crimes of the guilty, so let's not do so with legitimate Business Opportunities. Enhance or modify existing laws, IF NESSESSARY, to make it easier to prosecute ill-legitimate or criminal Business Opportunity providers BUT DO NOT PUNISH THE GOOD ONES!!!
