I have read through the document about the Business Opportunity Rule. It is meant to protect people from the Scammers. But there is a problem. Everytime there is a rule added, it affects the good honest home business owners in a bad way and creates more red tape. Isn't it the government's goal to reduce government and leave it to the people? Anything that requires more paperwork, more rules is something I would not encourage. I would be very concerned if this Rule were to pass. People themselves ought to learn and guard themselves from such scammers by learning to find them. It may be a hard lesson learned, but people do learn what to look for after such an incident happens. I would encourage the FTC not to create this rule, to put it away for good and instead have information available for people to read to be better informed in their business making decisions. Leave the decision making to us, not the government thinking we need to hold hands and be guided. This will affect more of the unknowing business workers than it would affect the scammers. Please deny this Business Opportunity Rule proposal. Thank You, Gary Roush
