Dear FTC: Please reconsider some of your regulatory changes regarding the direct sales industry. Specifically, the waiting period and references requirements. I've been doing PartyLite (PL) for almost 7 years and the proposed changes would be a heavy burden on my business. PL and Blythe Ind has made their business ethics an important part in our training and we hold their standards high in our business. I truly appreciate your views in protecting the industry and consumers from crooks but please know that the PL culture holds us each accountable in ways that go beyond explanation. Trust, respect and reputation. Thank you for your consideration.
