Business Opportunity Rule, R511993 PLEASE DO NOT ENACT THIS RULE for the following reasons: 1. This rule would have serious detrimental effects to the mlm and direct sales industry. 2. It is not required for anyother type of buying. Think about requiring a 7 day waiting period would seriously affect any business---car, jewelry, vendors who depend on any impulse sales. This has never been required in the history of the world nor in any other country. It makes no sense to impose this kind of obstacle for just network marketing and direct sales. 3. This is particularly troublesome because the average price of the MLM industry is under $500. This type of money does not warrent this kind of restriction because of the low risk and low cost involved. This is a couple of diners in Texas adn Chris Ruth steak house. 4. My recommendation is do not pass the rule and let free enterprise work and people take responsibility for all their decisions--don't hinder them from making a buying decision at the time they make that decision. Sincerely, George Hoagland
