RE: Business Opportunity Rule, R511993 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing this letter because I am concerned about the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993. I believe that in its presented form, it could prevent me from continuing as a distributor of Xango™ and destroy my small business. I previously worked as an auto mechanic for over 20 years. I had a trade. When I started as a mechanic, they didn’t tell me all the damage that would be done to my body over time. After 20 years, instead of going on disability, my wife and I started a Xango Home business. We are just to the point, after 27 months to be close to where we were when I was working as a mechanic. I have used most of my savings growing this business and now that we have done all the work on growing it, you want to take this away from us. So what are we to do? We will be another statistic. Why would you put this law in place? It won’t benefit honest people trying to help others. Scams will find ways around the changes anyhow, they always do. In Xango, if someone isn’t happy with the product, they get their money back on the product for 30 days. People only risk $35.00 for something that could change their live forever. My wife and I love this product and so does our family. The 7 day waiting period will make people think there is something wrong with me or the plan I am offering. Xango will buy back at 90% any product purchased in the 1st three months. Xango is a highly respected company and the founders really care about their distributors. This is a rare gem and very difficult to find in today’s society. When people buy other goods such as tv’s, computers, cars- all costing much, much more, they don’t have a seven day waiting period. Maybe there should be a 7 day waiting period on everything people purchase over $50.00. How much paper work would there have to be? Think about it. No one would be buying anything. Best Buy and Circuit City and Sears, etc would go out of business. Unfortunately we live in an instant world. People want to purchase things now. If you put the 7 day waiting period, you won’t be helping anyone. This would definitely be a mistake. The other thing that should be illegal is the part about sharing the 10 closest people’s information for someone starting a business. No one is going to want their information shared with strangers. I know I don’t. What about all the single women? They won’t want their information shared with strangers. People will sign up just to get other people’s information, another mistake. So, being a mechanic ruined my body. We worked hard to make this Xango Business work and now you are taking this away. What am I supposed to do? You will be ruining a lot of people’s lives and livelihood. The proposed changes should be scrapped. Please don’t destroy my home business. My wife and I depend on it for our income. So many people have been helped by Xango-the company and product. I am relying on your help to not let the changes go through. Sincerely, John Jurewicz
