OPEN LETTER TO ANY AND ALL AT THE FTC! Business Opportunity Rule, Matter No. R511993 I am writing this letter to you to let you know how I feel about new bills being proposed by the FTC to Not allow new Business Associates to join my sales force without a 7 day waiting period. I not only believe this to be DICTATORIAL in NATURE but, an infringement on FREE ENTERPRISE! This requirement would be detrimental to me and thousands of other legitimate Home Based Business Owners by having us keep piles of paperwork to the point that we can no longer have a Home Based Business; we would have to have a Brick and Mortar store which would make the COST of doing business unachievable! We Home Based Business Owners NEED to keep our Business in our Homes and we NEED to keep our DAY JOBS in order to keep our families going while we are building our Businesses! Otherwise we can not realize THE AMERICAN DREAM! You also want me to provide the Names and Phone Numbers of the 10 most recent and nearest Associates that have joined my team. This is a GROSS violation of privacy not to mention the potential opportunity for IDENTITY THEFT! You want me to provide to potential Associates the list of any law suits for the past 10 years! This information is already available to any and all Associates or anyone else by contacting the FTC itself! This requirement would be unfair and would put an undo burden on me and thousands of others! Plus, this requirement DOES NOT distinguish between legitimate or frivolous law suites brought on by unscrupulous individuals! These rules would damage legitimate publicly traded companies such as OURS and, any other legitimate company providing Services and Products to the consumer! In our Business, there are No Contracts to Sign nor, Any other type of Obligation. EVERYONE can do as much as they want, do nothing or even, cancel Any purchases they have made at any time! I am asking you to negate ANY and ALL attempts to undermine the BACK BONE of our NATION, OUR FREEDOM and, OUR AMERICAN WAY of LIFE! SUGGESTION: Why don’t you make a RULE that would require everyone, in any type of business, to have to CAII YOU to find out what side of the bed we are allowed to get out of everyday! What we have to eat each morning. How we eat it. When we can go to the bathroom. How hot the water can be. How long the bath can be. What type of automobile we can drive. You see, as ADULTS, we can NOT make these decisions on our own! We need MORE GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION HERE IN THE LAND of the FREE! DO YOU FOLLOW WHAT I’M SAYING? WE DON’T NEED YOU! WE ARE ADULTS!! LEAVE US ALONE!!! GET OFF OUR BACKS, NOW!! SUGGESTION: Instead of making US jump through hoops, why don’t YOU do more when you catch those that commit a fraudulent act? Don’t just slap their hand, SLAP THEM IN JAIL! WHY PUNISH US FOR YOUR INABILITIES AND DOWNFALLS? This is just like a government agency, NEVER WILLING TO TAKE THE BLAME WHEN THEY DON’T PERFORM THEIR DUTIES, JUST PASS IT ON TO US!!!! You show case after case of these fraudulent type “Work-at-Home” opportunities in your proposal, (pg 7 of 44 pgs)! Since 1990 you have brought over 60 cases. Yet, what have YOU done to those that committed these acts? NOTHING, THAT’S WHAT!!! But, you are quick to punish the rest of us that do have a legitimate opportunity to offer! Plus, who cares about the “Drop Out” rate! Doesn’t McDonalds have a massive drop out rate? Take Amway for instance, what did you about that? You made them put the information on their product, WOW! That was a terrific penalty! All they did was to no longer put their name on their product so; they don’t have to comply with your very STRONG penalty!! Then they changed their name to Quixtar and, continued doing business as usual! WOW, DID YOU EVER PUT THE SCARE INTO THEM!!! Infringe on those that are found GUILTY of committing the offenses, NOT A BLANKET RULE THAT WILL PUT UNDO STRAIN ON THE REST OF US!!
