Dear Madam or Sir, I am writing this letter because of my deep concern regarding the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993. I believe it will seriously prevent me from continuing as an Independent Xango Distributor. I started in Network Marketing in 2002 after a serious car accident. I have had 5 spinal surgeries and 1 surgery to repair multiple facial fractures. Because of the extent of my injuries, I was unable to return to my position as a Deputy Sheriff which I had held since 1981. The accident caused great health and financial concerns. I am trying to better myself but the proposed rule could seriously jeopardize this. Some of the sections in the proposed rule would make it hard, if not impossible for me to sell my product. When people see the 7 day waiting period, they will have serious doubts about my company and product. My company has a 30 day, 100% money back (less S&H)guarantee so why should they have to wait 7 days. It only costs $35 to sign up as a distributor/member with Xango. As for providing a list of 10 nearest references, this will put an undue burden on myself and it will also prolong the 7 day waiting period. This will also raise serious privacy issues and cause identity theft and safety issues. Being a woman in this business, I have already dealt with sexually harassing phone calls. This will only make the matter worse. There are many scams on the internet and these rules will do nothing to stop the shady characters. These rules will hurt my business and hurt me. Please take into consideration my comments and help me, a legitimate small business owner, that is trying to make a better life for myself and others. Respectfully Submitted, Susan Rizzo Eldred, PA
