I would like to address the fact that you are trying to regulate the independent marketing business and I agree there are many companies out there that need monitoring. I have been involved with Xango now for over 1 year and find them to be of the upmost and highest standards of integrity and they ask that as independent distributors that we follow their lead and do the same. I have concerns with the 7 day waiting period as we travel alot and find that while on the road that we meet people that are excited about using our product and the waiting period would make that more difficult to track and follow up with as we travel. Also the part about the references in the areas for the same reasons it would be difficult to find people in those areas that we don't know to give up their identification to act as a reference to a stranger in these days of privacy and all. People who use the product are proud to talk about their success that's no problem but to ask them to give up possible private information like phone number and address and such, I don't think they will like that. The part about earning claims is also hard as to what do you concider earnings? Net or gross? It all is up to the individual who is telling as to what they are saying. The worst is the $500 sign up fee.... I'm a Real Estate agent and I have problems having people come up with $500 for a down payment on a house not to mention on a business opportunity. This is America and I think we should allow the people the opportunity to be able to get involved in a business opportunity that if they apply themselves they have the opportunity like anyone else who works for a goal to have the opportunity to make a better life for themselves. If we put what may be a high price tag on it we are almost being discriminating against the less unfortunate by not letting them have an opportunity. Please give this more thought and let America be America and let it give it's people the opportunity to get ahead when they may be limited by their life style. Thank you for the opportunity to voice my opion.
