I am an independent PartyLite consultant. I love running my own business and being my own boss. These proposed regulations could prohibit me from offering my hostesses the same chance that I have had. I am now a stay-at-home mom thanks to PartyLite. Let's not generalize and hurt legitimate companies in the process. PartyLite, Home Interiors, TupperWare and Beauti Control have all been around for years. Buyer beware -- if a person is going to invest their time, effort, energy and even money into something, isn't it their responsibity to make sure the company is legit??? Contact the BBB, a lawyer if you have to. But don't punish everyone for the mistakes of the few.
