Dear Sirs and Madams- We at White Cloud Coffee [18 year old company] plan to start a network marketing company for our coffees. Your currently proposed changes in Franchise/Opportunity rules attempt to lump all of the 'bad guys' with the thousands of legitmate and successful companies as well as start ups like ours. Here's the answer; make every franchise and business opportunity company register with the FTC! That simple step will keep all of the pyramid schemes from promoting themselves. The currently proposes changes will halt the progress and start up of legitimate companies that employ thousands and retain millions of self-employed people - who all pay taxes. call me personally if i can be of further assistance. thank you.
