Dear Sirs, I have been a PartyLite consultant for 2 1/2 years. At the time I signed to become a consultant, I was invited to 4 shows and had talked to several other people regarding PartyLite. I am very glad I did. I now, when sponsoring a person, always speak with them at least 4 or 5 times at length. I invite them to all of our meetings to meet other consultants and they have as long a time to consider us as they need. Some have declined and 5 have signed up. I personally have never seen anyone pushing for a signature at any time. Those who take their time in joining PartyLite, always make the best consultants. I believe that joining PartyLite can make a great improvement in the lives of the women that I sponsor. That is my personal goal. Most of the women who are PartyLite consultants are also wives, mothers of small children, and/or employed in either part time or even full time jobs. Oh, yes, even grandmothers, as I am. PartyLite has designed its organization so that we, as extremely busy women, can have a business of our own that fits around our family and other jobs. Every minute we have is precious. Your requirements would seriously impair my personal business with unnecessary paperwork, time management problems and would infringe on my and my associates' privacy issues and freedoms. Again, as in almost everything, we are looking at a problem that has been detected in a small number of direct sales companies and we, who are abiding by common sense and good values, are being punished for their sins. Why not punish the offenders and not the offended ? Gentlemen and Ladies, please don't throw out the whole barrell because of one or two rotten apples. Why not just get rid of the offending rotten apples by fines, taking away their business licenses, etc. We have here, essentially, another case of people not taking responsibility for their own actions and decisions. Thank you for your time in reading this. I thank GOD for the priviledge of writing to you. Sincerely, Yevonne Noel
