Comments:

I have been selling PartyLite candles for 5 1/2 years and feel very strongly that 2 points of your new Business Opportunity Rule would severly impact PartyLite consumers and sales representatives in a negative way. The seven-day waiting period is not a good idea. People who are interested and excited about a new business want to get going right away. It is important to use enthusiasm and momentum to get a strong start to your business. The ten required references is non only unnecessary but it is an invasion of privacy. PartyLite is a reputable company that has been in business for over 30 years. I would not want a random person who is interested in selling PartyLite to have my information. Who knows what they would do with my information. With all the fraud out there these days, it is a major violation to give out anyones information to someone they don't know-- even if it is as a reference. Please consider modifying these rules for practical and legitimate companies like PartyLite Candles.
