The proposed legistation will be a negative impact to all those who participate in the direct sales businesses. There will always be those who take advantage of people and break the rules. That doesn't mean that we all do. This will greatly inhibit the potential growth in our businesses, not to mention the impact on income. For many people this is their sole source of income. This legislation would be the same as telling shop owners they can open their doors for business but could not sell any merchandise for 7 days and must provide to all customers 10 other shop owners references who sell the same products.Not only is this ridiculas but also very costly taking away for the the reason fror independent ownership. The DSA should be allowed to police themselves and provide guidelines on how to handle fraudulant practices from within.The DSA that I belong to already has guidelines on how to handle consultants who have been fraudulant with customers and they inforce it. While this may not be true of all DSAs, there are those that take this issue very seriously and strive to combat and prevent it from happening It's hard enough these days to make a living to support our families.Why must you make it much more difficult to provide for our families.
