As the sole supporter of a family, please reconsider passing the The Business Opportunity Rule as it will cause undue hardship for my Market America Unfranchise business. While I agree that many people are taken advantage of by fraudulent business practices, my business is not one of them & should not be included in a group or stereotype of those that are. Also consider this thought when ruling: How often do you read all information included in any purchase you make? This includes major purchases such as a house or a car as well as the directions to a new telephone. If you do, congratulations because you are definitely in the minority. Now, imagine that once you've read all the documentation, you now have to wait 7 days to actually take ownership. Pretty big bummer, huh? (especially if the Mercedes was being purchased to impress your new girlfriend) Chances are, you will find a way to obtain it via another method. Please consider that any person wishing to conduct fraud will do so despite deterrents in place by law. Please vote no on The Business Opportunity Rule for those 13 million people who are trying to better their financial situations in a legal manner. Direct selling agents provide goods and services to people who actually express desire for them prior to being produced. Thank you for attention. Kathy Sherman
