Dear FTC, I want to express my concerns about your new proposed Business Opportunity Rule as to how it will affect my business. I am an independent distributor of Xango and just launched this new business this year. I believe that Xango is a wonderful product and is beneficial to many people. I feel fortunate to be associated with such a great company and product. I appreciated what the FTC does to protect consumers, but I believe this new rule will adversely affect my ability to produce income and unfairly targets legitimate direct selling businesses like mine. I am particularly concerned with the seven-day waiting period because it will cast negative light on direct selling plans, which I believe is an unnecessary delay. The earnings claims is an unfair burden because it will be too difficult to collect. It will be impossible to find the "10 nearest existing sales people" and I think I will encounter privacy issues. I hope you will reconsider this new rule and give your consideration to these concerns that I have. Thank you for reading my letter. Sincerely, Ed Mitchell
