I would like to know what the need of this ruling would be? And if this is passed shouldn't the same rules apply to people buying traditional brick and mortar type business's. Or to those starting a franchise? What about free enterprise? Some people will be successful and some will not. Who's to blame for this? The individual starting the business of course. Some will follow the business outline and some won't - some will spend too much money and some won't. I see this as largely taking away the livelihood of many independent business associates and also taking away the hopes and dreams of others who are looking for an alternative to the 60-80 hour work week to get financially ahead. Network marketing business models are now being studied at harvard and as long as the company voices an earnings disclaimer and follows legal compliant rules of the states and countries involved - I say leave it alone. I have had success and failure in traditional business and network marketing. It is and always will be my choice. I see this as enabling the masses to have restrictions on their choices and suppressing their desires and dreams of a better life and income.
