I have been in direct sales for 23 years now. I left a corporate job to stay home and raise my family, using direct sales as a vehicle to earn extra income. As a 47 year old American, I have never, ever used the "system" for anything financial or material....have worked hard, provided for my family, paid taxes, etc. The changes proposed to the direct selling industry will hurt us. Part of the excitement of starting is that you can earn income quickly. It would be a hinderance to many women if they are asked to wait before starting which would jeapordize not only my business and my income but also the parent company, PartyLite. Please rethink this new law and allow us to continue to work hard, build our business and teams the way we have worked so successfully for the past 30 plus years.
