To Whom It May Concern, This letter is in regards to the “Business Opportunity Rule – R511993”. I am writing in protest of this proposed rule. I have been an active participant in the home based business industry for 4 years. The benefits I have received from being involved in the industry are too many to number. I am grateful on a daily basis for the opportunity to take part in this industry. I feel the proposed rule is not needed and will only hurt all of us involved in this very legitimate industry. In 2003 Sales of products and services reached $29.6 billion in 2003 through an estimated 13 million distributors in America, according to the Direct Selling Association. To implement the various rules you are proposing will not only hurt all involved but it will also hurt the entire economy. I would ask you to not implement the proposed rule for the sake of a great industry and the entire economy. Thank you for you consideration. Terry Hansen
