Sir: As some of you may be aware, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has proposed a new rule (Business Opportunity Rule, R511993) that will negatively affect the direct market selling industry, requiring companies to alter their sales methods and placing additional burdens on direct sellers in order to comply with federal law.
