I just received your website from a friend and have reviewed it's contents. I was stunned to think that more gov't control is in order. Your proposals will literally destroy many very good opportunities for the stay at home Mom and for individuals who prefer not having a boss and wants to be rewarded for the efforts they put into their jobs, not a job with a salary. There just isn't enough jobs out there that will replace the income that many of us are receiving. I do understand that there are scams out their but the regulatory laws should not change as FTC does a good job of policing in it's present form. You cannot stop all the greedy individuals taking advantage of the elderly and the misinformed but that is the nature of our society. I have been associated with 3 very good NWM companys in the last 27 years and they have fantastic products which improved my health when I was nearly close to death. Had I stayed the course with the Medical community I would not be sending you this e-mail. You attempt to regulate the small companys but do nothing to regulate the Pharmacutical companys which are peddling drugs that kill over 50,000 people a year. Why aren't the drug companys shut down. Drugs that have so many side effects yet FTC still allows these same companys do stay in business. If man made it it's probably not very good for us but if God made it it's probably very good for us. This is the upside with taking nutritional products. The downside is there is no double-blind study so how do we say what is good and what is bad for us. Yes we need a double-blind study to make sure these natural products are good for us, like they do with the drugs that kill us. Then finally our gov't steps in and says we need to take this drug off the market when it is to late. Who pays for this, the consumer of which you are to protect. I am not in favor of what you are planning and I can guarantee you will run into resistance like this country has never seen before because there are millions of us to stand up and say enough is enough.
