I am very concerned about the pending legislation affecting direct marketing. There are many people making supplemental income from these sources. They depend on it to make ends meet and give their families a little more security. I can not understand why you would want to interfere with that. If there are companies that are operating illegally then shut them down but leave the legitimate ones alone. Corportate America certainly is not fulling the needs of the average family and people are doing what ever they can to survive. Older people being put out of work to make way for younger lower paid individuals. What are they suppose to do? Lose everything they have? They are doing what has made this country great--finding a way to work and survive. Please reconsider your position on this issue. Thank you, Larry E. Yancey & Hope Yancey
